Would you like to be part of a dynamic team delivering an important contract for Realise Futures and local communities?

The coaching service has 2 coach vacancies across Suffolk.  These are fixed-term contracts until March 2023.  These positions provide the perfect opportunity for anyone who would like to gain valuable experience working with marginalised people in our communities.  We are looking for individuals who can work in a person-centred, solution focused way to empower our participants to make life more meaningful and purposeful through community engagement, training and work.  If you can evidence how you have worked with someone in your personal or professional life to set goals, explore options and work towards meeting that goal we would love to hear from you.

The successful candidates can work from our Ipswich, Bury or Lowestoft offices.  You will deliver the Work Well Suffolk Coaching Service through a participant caseload.  You will need to be an engaging, motivated and innovative professional who will deliver a bespoke, holistic and integrated coaching service for adults with disabilities and health conditions to improve their independence and provide opportunities for progression into sustainable employment or training, where appropriate. You will conduct a holistic needs assessment and develop a mutually agreed plan to address individual needs and aspirations. The postholder will forge effective relationships with statutory and voluntary organisations to ensure a flow of referrals to and from services. Knowledge of, and strong links within the local community is critical to the success of the delivery of this programme so applications from residents of Ipswich or Babergh & Mid Suffolk will have an advantage.

The experience of our participants is integral to the success of our business and providing them with an excellent, person-centred, service is at the very core of the Coach role.

Applications for part-time hours (not less than 18.5hrs) will be considered in line with business need.

For an informal discussion regarding the position please call Leanne Buss on 07511 059720.

Realise Futures is proud to be a mindful employer that offers a range of employee benefits including flexible working arrangements (where business needs allow), 25 days annual leave (in addition to recognised bank holidays) and an occupational pension scheme.

Realise Futures is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults, young people and children, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We are an equal opportunities employer.

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
