Teaches: ‘Computer Skills for Beginners’ and ‘Computer Club’ courses.

Background
I started in 2015, just after completing the Award in Education with Realise Futures. My interest for teaching was initially sparked through doing courses with Realise Futures myself. I loved how it was so different from school/college and how you could make a real difference to someone’s life.

Realise Futures
No day is the same! The most satisfying part of the role is seeing and supporting learners to achieve their objectives, which can be so varied but equally as rewarding to see.

Hobbies?
I have a bit of a football obsession! I try and play a little, but you will mostly find me at Carrow Road (am I allowed to say that!?) every other weekend. I also love music, playing guitar, getting out at night to do some photography, and seeing friends and family whenever I can.

Favourite film/book?
That’s tough. You can’t beat the Back to the Future series though, can you?! I enjoy reading anything by Matt Haig and Mitch Albom, particularly Tuesdays with Morrie and For One More Day. Two of my favourite reads were also the diaries of Etty Hillesum and Anne Frank.

Advice for learners
It’s never too late to start learning something new. I would encourage anyone to just take the first step. We have an incredible delivery team that will support the rest of their journey from start to finish.

Favourite course to learn?
I really enjoy any delivery that I do on any course! If I had to pick, I would say the ‘Computer Club’ as over the last few years we have delivered to such a range of learners - sometimes ranging from their early 20’s to late 90’s! It has been great to support learners to stay in touch with friend/family members that have moved to different countries – that is definitely the most rewarding part.
