Baby Activity Station
Duration: 10 hours
Summary
This course is aimed at promoting understanding of how parents/carers can support the learning and development of their baby. This course takes 8 or 10 hours to complete (four or five sessions of two hours). This course is usually delivered over 5 weeks x 2 hours.
Outcomes
- Learn about the development of babies and the early learning goals contained within the Early Years Foundation Strategy
 - Understand how parents/carers can support a baby’s learning and skills development through play
 - Participate in sensory activities with your baby
 - Discuss experiences with other parents
 - Support for further developing relationships between parents/ carers, and their child
 
Progression
We provide a wide range of courses including vocational and employability qualifications to help further develop your skills and prepare you for work, computer courses, family learning and health and wellbeing programmes.

 - Baby, Babble and Banter
 - Community English or maths courses to gain a Functional Skills qualification

Entry requirements
- Aged 19 or over
 - You can join this course if you are a parent, carer or grandparent of a child or children approximately 10 months to 2 years
